Balu Mahendra’s film Adhu oru kanakkalam was announced in 2003 after Julie Ganapathy failed at the box office. But, due to persistent troubles, it proceeded slowly and the shooting was completed last January. Post production work consisting of dubbing and effects is over and now the re-recording for the background score is on with Isaignani Ilayaraja at the helm. Once this is over, dts mixing will be done and the film is expected to hit the theatres next month. Dhanush and Priya Mani are in the lead.
