The 52nd Filmfare award was organized at the Gachibowli Indoor stadium, Hyderabad recently. This year’s Lifetime achievement award was presented to yesteryear actress K.R.Vijaya who has acted the role of Hindu goddess in many films. The award was given to her by veteran director K.Vishwanath.Surya bagged the best actor award for Tamil for his performance in Perazhagan. Madhavan received the best supporting actor award in Tamil for Ayutha Ezhuththu. Sandhya bagged the best actress award in Tamil for her role in Kaadhal .
