Abirami Theater in Purasawalkam is a historical landmark in Tamil films. It is now converted into a multiplex. It has a unique record of screening continuously for 28 years in which 200 films have crossed the 100-day mark. The 200 th film was, no doubt, Chandramukhi. The proprietor, Ramanathan has thanked the viewers and producers who have enabled him to reach this milestone. We also wish him success in the future.
