Actor Vijay is a forerunner in preferring to work with debutante directors. He believes that newcomers bring in a fresh perspective to films. They have no preconceived notions about the market or his star image and therefore can make versatile fare. He has worked with almost 7 different new directors in his careers including the latest Sachein. The eighth in the list is Perarasu, who was the director of Vijay’s Thirupachi. Buoyed by the success, Perarasu had requested Vijay to do one more film with him to which the latter agreed gleefully. The result is Sivakasi which is shaping up as a blockbuster on a mega budget. We are sure the hero-director duo has a few aces up their sleeves. Let us wait and watch.
