Sachien which was released this Tamil new year did not do so well. To compensate this Ilaya Thalapathi is now working very hard for Sivakasi. The film unit is now temporarily settled in Karaikudi.The shooting will last for over a month there and so the cast including Vijay, director Perarasu and others are staying there. The film is set for a Diwali release. Apparently the team of Vikram’s Maja too is now in Pollachi and not in Chennai.
