Vijayakanth will launch his political party in September. In a recent chat he spelt out his reasons for a political innings. He said that he had more than enough money and the Tamil audience had blessed him with great wealth and affection. He had been giving back a little to the society. His confidantes felt that he needed to expand his scale and do good deeds as the representative of the entire state. He also had a strong cadre to support him. Hence, his brand of politics would be different and so he did not relent from entering politics.
