Parthale Paravasam with Madhavan and Simran was his 100th film. It did not do as well as it was talked about. Now, after a gap of a couple of years, he is directing a film produced by his protégé, Prakash Raj, on behalf of his Duet Movies. This film is titled Poi. Telugu actor Uday Kiran is the hero while Vimala Raman, an NRI from Australia is the heroine. In the function celebrating his 75th birthday in the past week, he announced the launch of the film. Many of the leading stars who were groomed by KB attended and felicitated the legend.
