It started with Prabhu Deva. After a string of his Tamil films bombed, he turned to directing Telugu films. His project with Trisha in the lead titled Pournami was a super hit. Now in his next Telugu film, he will be the hero as well as the director. Following in his footsteps is Lawrence who made a mark in a few films as a talented dancer. He has also directed a hit Telugu film. Similarly, Arjun who started his career as an action choreographer and graduated being the hero is bitten by the direction bug. He will shortly start work on a Telugu film with superstar Chiranjeevi in the lead.
