After spending almost two years on Anniyan, Shankar thought Canada would be the right place for a vacation. He will spend the next 1 month there and only then will return. On returning he will mostly start his next project .but not as a director but as a producer. His S films will again have Balaji Sakhthivel directing it. Though Kaadhal was a low budget movie it had reaped immense profits to Shankar. On the other hand Shankar is also open to do a humorous movie like the ones in Hollywood by Charlie Chaplin, laurel and hardy etc
