Kamal’s next project was slated to be Vettaiyadu Villaiyadu with Jyothika. However, there has been a slight hitch in the production due to which he has started work on the Kannada remake of the hit film, Sathi Leelavathi. Ramesh Arvind who played the philandering husband in Tamil will play the same role in Kannada besides directing the movie. The ethnic rusticity will be retained in the Kannada version as well.
