Sathyaraj and his son Sibiraj acted together in Jor and Mannin Maindhan. Both were nothing raving to write home about. Undeterred, they have decided to come forward in another movie called Vel, Vel. Lakshmipriyan who has worked as assistant to Manivasagam and T.P. Gajendran will wield the megaphone. Khushboo will play opposite Sathyaraj and Nikita is Sibi’s lady. Vadivelu will appear in an important role. The trio of Sathyaraj, Khushboo and Vadivelu is expected to bring rip roaring comedy. The inauguration ceremony was held today. Shooting for the film will be held in the scenic locales of Pollachi, Top slip and Munnar. Songs will be shot in Australia and the Netherlands. Lakshmi Arts is the producer.
