The crew of the film along with the director Shafi met the press yesterday. Shafi declared that Vikram has earned the image of being excellent only in serious roles and that his brand of comedy was not quite recognized. Maja will set the picture straight because it is a full length comedy besides plenty of action and sentiment. As is by now well-known it is a remake of the Mammooty starrer, Thommanum makkalum(Father and his sons). It focuses on the father-son relationship with a humorous angle. A few changes have been made in the screenplay of the Tamil version to accommodate Vikram’s persona and audience expectation.
