Sandhya, what sort of a girl were
you at school?
Till last year I was going to
school. I was just an ordinary
and silent girl. I won’t
speak much, would mind my own
business. If anyone comes and
speaks to me I would answer in
a word or two. I had very few
friends. I used to speak only
with them. But now everything
has changed.
Did you have the thought
of becoming an actress? Or did
your friends influence you?
No. I’ve never thought
of acting. There were 42 students
in my class. In that I was the
only one who wanted to do Visual
Communication.Otherwise, we would
discuss movies just like any other
students. Never has the thought
of acting come to me..
Just like it comes in
Kaadhal, have you ever
fell in love?
No. I studied in school only
for girls. I m have not even ridden
a scooty. My father would drop
and pick me up from school.
There were some oppositions
for Kaadhal?
It is a true incidence. Just
like what has happened can’t
be stopped same is the case of
the movie. What is wrong in the
movie? While studying in school,
how a girl falls in love, comes
to a decision and how she fails
at the end is what the story about.
We have to take the good things
from it. What will happen if someone
falls into love like the characters
in the movie is what the theme
is. It can even be taken as a
warning. After seeing movies only
people get spoilt is all humbug.
Sandhya’s plus
and minus?
I will take good or bad, whichever
comes. Will analyze the positive
and negative of any situation
and then decide. This is my plus
point. Anger is my biggest weakness.
But in cinema one can’t
get angry. We should take it for
our own good.
