Trisha - Exclusive Interview:

Trisha was caught and interviewed while she was in Chennai...

A few days ago Trisha came to Chennai to participate in the "Gilli" film celebrations and also to complete her role in "Thiruppachi" in the AVM Studios.

The actress was busy with her schedules in the Telugu film industry, and was not seen much in the Tamil movies recently. When she spoke, she said she was happy about the success of her film "Gilli" with actor Vijay.

Next into our interview...

Q: What do you feel for the success of "Gilli"?

Trisha:
I feel very happy for "Gilli's" success. Every character in the film has been well weaved and every actor and actress for the movie mingled along well with those characters. The story line was superb. This is the success story of "Gilli".

Q: How was your relationship between you and Vijay during the film's shooting?

Trisha: Vijay is a very jovial person, but I think it is the nature of Vijay not to talk with anyone in the shooting. He will not talk to anyone, unless the person is either his director or some one connected with the film shooting. When he enters the sets he would say 'hello' to everyone. Similar treatment was meted out by me. It took some days for him to move with me freely. The shooting of the film took more than four months and in that meantime we became good friends. In my opinion he is a gentle man of the era in the film world.

Q:  Do you find any difference between Vijay and
Ajith?

Trisha: When Ajith comes to the shoot, he would smile gently at everyone, whether the person may know him or not. I happen know Ajith's wife Shalini even before I came into the tinsel world. She has been my school mate and a friend, and I felt very happy when we first made our friendship. I never knew then, that I will be acting with her love subject. In the shooting, Ajith will change himself completely into the character of him in the film. He would ask the assistants to repeat the dialogues and straightaway go into the takes. There won't be any monitors or repeated takes for him in the shoot.

Q: Why are your chances in the Tamil film industry scarce now?

Trisha: No, It is not like that. Chances are still bright for me in the Tamil films. I am currently involved in "Thiruppachi" with Vijay, and also busily engaged with three Telugu films. I'm even needed in the Malayalam film industry. There are some producers in Malayalam, who are waiting for my call sheets. In this profession, one can't predict the happenings about chances.

I toured Australia for some days, when some Tamil film producers approached my mother for my call sheets. My mother was not sure about my return and asked them to wait for some days. But the producers who have invested crores of rupees for their production could not wait for me and this is a known factor. Therefore some other heroine has been booked as a replacement for me in their films.

Q: Regarding a news, that you are getting married to a person whom you love?

Trisha: So far, I have not loved anyone. I love to be a loved by my fans only for the time being. If I happen to fall in love with a person,  I will definitely inform  this to my mother who always insist me in getting married soon. If I love someone, I will always be sincere to them and I expect the same from them.

Q: Please tell us  about your present Tamil film?

Trisha: "Ghili" has brought me laurels, Similarly, my current film "Thiruppachi" will also bring me good scope for my acting career.

In this film I act as a soft heroine. The film is based on a family subject, and of course I will also star in a glamorous role in the film.
