Ashutosh Gowariker, of Lagaan and Jodhaa Akbar fame, is directing his next movie which is titled Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se. The film will bring Abhishek Bachchan and Deepkia Padukone together for the first time on silver screen. KHJJS, produced by Ashutosh and Sunitha Gowarikar, is said to be a period thriller and is based on the book Do and Die by Manini Chatterjee. The book Do and Die is based on the Chittagong uprising in 1930.

The music of the movie is composed by Sohail Sen, who worked in Ashutosh's previous movie 'What's your Rashee'. Lyrics have been penned by Javed Akhtar and the audio is due to be released by the end of October. Shooting of the movie is in full swing and is set for a December release.
