Refuting reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan declined to judge the show Dance Premier League on account of payment issues, it has been clarified on her behalf that the actress could not workout her dates and the price issue never did arise.

According to the press release, “A recent news story issued by a channel suggested Aishwarya Rai was ousted by Madhuri Dixit for one of their reality shows, citing money as an issue. We would wish to clarify that this is an act of fiction, fact being that Aishwarya, who is known to be a thorough professional, had to refuse the show on account of her commitment to films.”

The show is currently being judged by Rani Mukherjee and dancer Shiamak Davar.
