Madhavan, John Abraham, Pooja Bedi, Jacqueline Fernandes and Jet Li were all a part of the ex-President of US, Jimmy Carter’s project, One Habitat - to construct houses in Thailand.

Maddy and John had spent two days in Thailand constructing houses along with the other film personalities and the local people. Reportedly, the three stars - Maddy, John and Jet Li - shared a good rapport while working together. About his experience, and more importantly about Jet Li, Maddy said, “I cannot describe how fantastic the experience was. Jet Li is an extremely intelligent and well-read person. His enthusiasm for charity is outstanding and he does charity very intelligently. He doesn't look at charity as an option but as a responsibility. He makes it so simple too.”
