Deepika Padukone stole the limelight at the
Cannes Film Fest this year by walking the red
carpet for the first time. She was representing
the liquor brand Chivas Regal. The lady looked
ravishing in a Rohit Bal-designed off white,
slightly embroidered gold saree.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been attending
Cannes since 2002 as L’Oreal’s brand
ambassador was present at the event. She decided
to go completely western and was seen wearing
a violet-blue fully embroidered tulle and mousseline
gown designed by the Lebanese designer Elie
Saab.
