The
producer of the blockbuster movie 3 Idiots,
Vidhu Vinod Chopra, is due to file a case against
director-producer Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury. Chowdhury
had announced that his animation film –
4th Idiot – has drawn inspiration from
3 Idiots. This is enough for Vidhu Vinod Chopra
to issue the legal notice.
Reacting to the notice, Chowdhury said that
it is a clear case of misunderstanding. He added
that he had merely drawn inspiration from 3
Idiots and has not violated the copyrights.
