A special screening of 3 Idiots was held at
the UN Headquarters in New York on May 14th.
It is learnt that the management department
of the UN contacted the 3 Idiots’ director
Raj Kumar Hirani to arrange for the screening
after coming to know of the film. Hirani and
his co-writer Abhijat Joshi interacted with
the UN officials after the screening to assert
the movie’s impact on them.
3 Idiots was screened in the Indian Film
Festival 2010 at the Federation Square in
Melbourne, Australia earlier this year.
The director said that he is honored that
3 Idiots has been selected for the prestigious
screening in the UN headquarters.
