Trisha’s first Bollywood flick Khatta
Meeta, which has Akshay Kumar playing the
lead, is in trouble. Apparently, there is
a scene in this movie which has an elephant
pushing a bulldozer. The Censor Board did
not raise any objections to this scene but
it was brought to the notice of the Animal
Welfare Organization, who immediately sprung
into action and demanded that the film should
not be screened because the film unit did
not obtain a no-objection certificate from
them to use an animal. This NOC is mandatory
in case a film unit decides to use an animal.
Following this, the film’s hero and
producer Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan
has decided to chop off the scene to ensure
a smooth release.
