Popular director Ashutosh Gowarikar announced
his dream project Buddha a couple of months
ago. But till date this project has not
commenced. Enquiries in Bollywood reveal
that Ashu has been scouting for a suitable
face to play Buddha in his film, but he
is not able to find one.
After auditioning several persons and looking
into the bio-data of scores of applicants,
the ace director has decided to shelve this
project until he finds someone apt. According
to sources close the director, Ashu does
not want to take risk by casting someone
unsuitable for the role, as Buddha is to
be made on a huge budget.
