Peepli Live has been making waves across
India of late. Made with a modest budget,
Peepli Live has already been declared a
hit in Bollywood. Directed by Anusha Rizvi,
this movie exposes the plight of farmers
of rural India and their underlying problems.
Aamir Khan, known for his bold moves, held
a special premiere of the movie at the Prime
Minister Manmohan Singh's residence over
the weekend.
It will be interesting to see the comments
of the PM on the movie as it is based on
a real incident on farmer suicide. We wait
in eagerness to know the result!
