The
audio launch of Mani Ratnam's trilingual saga
Raavan influenced by the mythological character
of the same name was held in Mumbai at the Yashraj
Studios on April 24, 2010. The audio launch
was attended by Bollywood biggies including
director Vidhu Vinodh Chopra apart from the
film's cast and crew namely Mani Ratnam, Abhishek,
Aishwarya, Vikram, Ravi Kissen, A R Rahman and
lyricist Gulzar. Gulzar and Rahman also performed
on stage for Raavan's songs. The event also
saw Abhishek's dance performance in a rather
spooky makeup.
Raavan is expected to be released in Hindi and
Tamil in the month of June. The Tamil version
will have Vikram, Aishwarya Rai and Prithviraj
in lead roles. There is no news about the Tamil
audio launch of the movie as yet. |
