It
was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who took the task
of introducing Raavan during the audio launch
of the film that took place on April 24th, 2010
at Mumbai. The actress said, “This is
the most challenging role of my career. What
is unique about Mani is that he draws you in
his world through the narration. Ragini is a
unique woman and a strong character which I
personally can relate to.”
Ash recalled that Mani discussed the concept
of Raavan when they were shooting for Guru.
Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan, AR Rahman, Mani Ratnam
and others were present at the event. Much to
the delight of the select audiences that were
present, Rahman preformed some of the songs.
