A film titled Indru with Karthik in the lead was under production. Thanu Rai who is a leading model in Kolkata was the leading lady in the film. For unknown reasons, the film was shelved. The girl changed her name as Roshni and tried her luck in the company of Shyam and Richard in Girivalam. Sadly for her, it did not do well. Now she is working under the baton of Bharathi Kannan in a film called Kadhal Kaviyam. She is keeping her fingers crossed and hoping that the film would lift her fledgling film career. In case it does not happen so, she has plans to return to modeling where she already has a reputation having been seen in campaigns such as for Fair ever Fairness cream.
