Padmapriya is the debutante heroine of Cheran’s next film, Thavamai thavamirundhu. She belongs to Bangalore and was working as a software executive after finishing her MBA. She entered filmdom in Malayalam and has already worked in a film apiece with Mammooty and Mohanlal. Cheran who has the reputation of featuring earthy heroines was in search of a fresh face for TT. When he happened to see Padma in a Malayalam film he promptly signed her up for the film. Cheran’s female protagonists have strong determination to succeed against all odds. Hope Padma’s character is also etched with similar shades of surviving under adversity and yet retaining a smile on the lips.
