Sivakumar is not only a dignified
performer, but also a multi-faceted
personality. He is a trained
painter and an accomplished
writer. He recently released
his autobiography, Idhu Rajapattai
Alla. It is basically in the
form of memoirs written in
68 essays. The moving essay
on his mother takes up 30
pages. These essays first
appeared in Junior Vikatan
and were also taken up for
comparative studies syllabus
of Loyola College. The book
has several rare photographs
(poet Vali without his beard,
K.B. without glasses).
The book is written in a lucid
style. Good value for money.
