Jeyam Ravi made his debut as the romantic hero. He also acquitted himself well in M.Kumaran as the affectionate son torn between egoistic parents. His forthcoming film being directed by Charan is titled Idhayathirudan. If you thought it was a fall back on romance, you are mistaken. For the guy has a well delineated comedy angle to his character. Charan is a master of situational comedy and so Ravi will definitely come good under his baton. Asked whether this change of track is helpful, Ravi has confidently replied that versatility is the hallmark of a good artiste and so he would like to try out different shades of emotion in his films.
