Actor karthik was a good actor and a reliable artist in the past. He debuted in the movie, "Azaigal Oyeivadhillai". Being the heir of old time fame actor Muthuraman, he was given a red carpet treatment from the Tamil cine industry.

He was doing well as an actor until a few years back. He became a drug addict, and lost many of the good opportunities sailing his way. Many producers and directors began to deny chances to Karthik.

Now, Karthik feels for his mistakes and has become a changed man.

The film chances have also begun to flow again for the actor.
