Sivaji Films had taken great pains to ensure that Chandramukhi turned out to be a thorough entertainer. To pray for the success of the film, Sivaji’s family had performed special puja at their native place, Surakkottai. Kamalamma, wife of Sivaji Ganesan, had also participated in the puja. Now that Chandramukhi is doing well, Rajinikanth has suggested to Sivaji Films that he would be interested in doing at least two films a year under their banner. The folks at Sivaji Films seem to have lapped up the idea. Recently, Rajini also organized a gala dinner for the technicians of Chandramukhi.
