  CM warns Ramdoss & Thirumavazavan:

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Selvi J Jayalalitha, recently warned politicians Ramdoss and Thirumavazavan in a press meet, that they should not go on insisting the Tamil film community to name their film’s only in Tamil.

Dr.Ramdoss of the PMK and Thirumavazavan of Viduthazai Siruthaigal were constantly pestering the people of the Tamil cine field, who had their film titles named in English. They even announced a mass bund, if such films were to be filmed in the Tamil Nadu theaters.

Recently, these two politicians announced started a organization called Tamil Padhukapu iyakam, and threatened two Tamil film’s whose titles are English that, they will not allow any of those film’s to be screened in the theaters.




 

When this matter was taken to the Tamil Nadu Chief minister Selvi J Jayalalitha, She immedietly warned these two politicians in a pressmeet that proper actions will be taken against these two if they continue with their actions here after.

She even pointed few things on Ramdoss and Thirumavazavan. She said that Ramdoss itself is not a Tamil name, and asked whether he is ready to change his name to a proper Tamil Name. Similarly she scorched Thirumavazavan that, the literature meeting he attended is named ‘Pena En Ayudham’ and asked why he has been a guest to the meeting with an English title.

She said that our Tamil culture is not against other languages and similar examples such as these should not be encouraged in the future here after.
