Viswas V. Sundar of Viswas Films (P) Ltd., is busy with his next offering called Chanakya. As the name suggests, it is a film of huge proportion. The grandeur associated with the political sage of yore has been recreated in a modern context. Sarathkumar and Laya are the lead pair. Vadivelu, Hanifa and others are in the cast. Music has been composed by Srikanth Deva and V.T. Vijayan is the editor. Screenplay and direction are by A. Venkatesh, who has directed Sarath in Ei and Mahaprabu, Vijay in Bhagawati and Simbu in Dum and Kuthu. Sarath plays an auto driver in Chanakya and one can be sure that there will be no dearth of action fireworks. Super Subbarayan has choreographed the action scenes. A sequence was shot in the Sholavaram racing track with a fleet of 100 autos.
