The verbal spat in the media and the consequent clash between the fans of two leading actors in Tamil cinema is too well-known. It forms the core around which a new film is being made. It is aptly titled Rasikar Mandram. Four lead actors are newcomers and are supported by familiar faces like Nasser, Babu Ganesh and Swarnamalya. Dinesh is the cinematographer and Tamizhmagan has written the dialogues. Story and direction are by Pugazhendi Thangaraj. He had earlier directed the controversial film Katrukkenna veli besides the recent Ullakkadathal.
