The Gemini film production concern brought the remake copyright license for the super hit Telugu film Arya. Director Selvaragavan wrote the remake screenplay and the dialogues for the film and got a 40 lack worth Mercedes Benz car for his work.

The important news is that, Dhanush has been booked as the hero of the film, while he was the talk of the town, with everyday hit movies. He was assured rupees two crores for his call sheet then.

But now, with most of his films becoming disastrous flops, the film concern has asked Dhanush to step down on his salary amount, to which he has persistently denied.

Now he has given the call sheets dates for that movie to Thiruda Thirudi fame director Subramaniam Siva.
