Vincent Selva who directed Youth is the director of Jithan as well. Because of the successful run of the unusual film, he has visited the Velankanni Church for thanksgiving. Jithan’s producer Radaan Mediaworks has also committed Vincent for its next film Khaki in which Sarathkumar plays the lead. On being quizzed whether it has any semblance to the original in Hindi, the director vehemently denies.
