Kurumbu was a candy floss romance cum comedy directed by Vishnuvardhan. The film did reasonably well. Now, Vishnu is working on Arindum Ariyamalum, which will be an action thriller in a romantic setting. Prakashraj plays the role of a don. The hero is newcomer Arya, who is Prakash’s protégé. The other hero is Navdeep. The heroine is Samiksha from Mumbai. Tamil movies have begun to explore fatherly sentiment (remember M.Kumaran, Iyya) and Arindum Ariyamalum sticks to this line as well.
