Kunal made his debut in Kadhalar Dinam which was a super hit. He followed it up with many films as a lovelorn guy. These did not do too well. After a passive phase, he is at present working under director S.Arasu in a film called Kimu Kipi. The heroine in the film is Susan who played opposite Vijayakanth in Neranja Manasu.
