Nayantara made a dream debut with Sarathkumar in Iyya. She is said to have accepted Rs. 3 lakhs as her fee in the film. Next, she featured in Chandramukhi wherein she was paid Rs. 5 lakhs. In her forthcoming film with S.J.Suryah called Kalvanin kadhali, she had asked for Rs. 10 lakhs. As S.J.Suryah wanted a more glamorous look for the heroine, she had bowed to his request and done hot scenes effortlessly. In the process, she had also hiked her fee by another Rs. 10 lakhs. It is also reported that she has been signed on for a Telugu film opposite Junior NTR at a whopping Rs. 25 lakhs.
