Shankar gave her a name as Harini in Boys. She did not do any more films in Tamil and went back to modeling finding success as the Fair & Lovely girl with cricketer Kris Srikanth. She came back to do Sachin with Vijay as Genelia D’ souza. Asked why she has dumped Harini, she said that Genelia , her family name was a great success in Telugu movies.
