How did you get your chance
in Tamil cinema?
While I was studying
my B.A, I didn’t have
any idea to become an actress.
But fate had its way, I was
selected a best model in a
beauty pageant, and my photos
came in all magazines. Mr.Pazani
kumar from Sivasakthi movies
called me and booked me for
the film Ramakrishana. At
first I was a little confused
whether to change my career
or not, but later I decided
what I wanted to be. That’s
how I got into the Tamil cinema.
How was your experience
in your first Tamil movie
Ramakrishna?
In my first Tamil
film, I was the director’s
child. I did what the director
told me to do. All the credits
go tot him. Later my friends
and relatives told me that
I’ve acted well in the
movie. It was a happy moment
then.
What are the film’s
you have been booked currently?
I’m acting
in the film by name “Anthanaal
Nyabagam”. The film
is produced by a film concern
called Senthamizh Kalaikoodam,
and directed by Mani Bharathi.
Ramana stars as the hero of
the film. Apart from this,
I’m also acing in a
film called “Anbe Vaa”
directed by Selvabharathy.
Offers are also coming from
the Malayalam and the Telugu
film industries.
Will you be one of
the glam dolls in town?
There is always a
limitation for glamour. If
it happened to be a modern
girl character, then I will
surely act in that character,
but I will not cross my glamour
limit.
