Srikanth is the hero of the film. This is the second Srikanth film to have a title which reminds one of olden days. The first one was of course, Parthiban kanavu. There are two heroines in the film- Namitha and Arthi Agarwal. The comedy track has been provided by Vadivelu and Ganja karuppu. Kapilan, Na. Muthukumar, Pa. Vijay and Parthi Bhaskar have written the lyrics. Parthibaskar who has written the story and screenplay is also the director of the film. He is the nephew of Ilayaraja and son-in-law of Deva. Srikant Deva has scored music and R.K. Vijay Murugan is in charge of art direction. Sasikumar is the editor and Brinda, Kalyan and Dinesh are the dance directors. Most of the shooting will be in Ooty.
