In Ponniyin Selvan, Ravikrishna is the hero and Gopika is the leading lady. One rustic song runs as Kola…Kolaya.. It is also the running lyric for a popular game in our countryside. This song was shot on the first floor of Prasad Studio a couple of days ago. It had the perfect village setting with a farmhouse, well and windmill for props. 20 dancers participated in the sequence. Yuvan Shankar Raja has exhibited another facet of his musical prowess in scoring folksy numbers in the film. Radhamohan, who gave us the enjoyable Azhagiya Theeye, is the director of this film. The film has been shot by Visu and dances are choreographed by Raju Sundaram.
