Jeyam Ravi starring Dass was first known by the name Rascal. Later due to naming problem which rose due to the political parties, it was changed to Dass. Ravi stars as a Football athlete in this film. He was also very sincere enough to get some practice on the real game to be a player in the film. A Football match up scene which is said to decide the climax was shot grandly with some 1000 models from Mumbai heating up the entire football stadium. The shot was perfectly canned and said it would be talked about to the expectations of a real football game, says the director.
