Dhanush stars as a two wheeler mechanic in Selvaragavan’s latest venture Pudhupetai. It is said that Dhanush is the one, who insisted on creating the lead character in the movie with the prospects of a Mechanic.

News sources say that Dhanush wanted the mechanic character badly, because he is the one who was approached first to do the lead role in Balaji Sakhthiven’s Kadal in a mechanic character. But as Dhanush was busy with his schedule then, Bharath did the character and the film was quite successful.

Now the actor thinks that he has missed quite an opportunity and feels that a mechanic role would certainly give him a raise in his now down fell image in Kollywood, and thus the mechanic character in Pudhupetai.
