The film “Manmathan” which had Simbu and Jothika in the lead roles is facing censor problems. The satellite rights for the film were given to Sun TV at a cost of 65 lakhs. Eventhough the film didn’t fetch much money for the producer S.K.Krishnakath, Indian Theatres, he was glad that Sun TV has agreed to offer 65 lakhs for satellite rights.

All of a sudden, the high court in Mumbai has released an order stating that films with U/A certificate should not be telecast in televisions. This order has worried lot of producers who earn a lot through selling the satellite rights. “Manmadhan” which has U/A certificate cannot be telecast in the television. This has urged S.K.Krishnakanth to remove the glamour stuffs and send the movie to the censor board for revaluation. So nowadays, S.K.Krishnakanth is often seen in the censor office.

The other films which have also faced similar problems are “Kathal FM” produced by Jayaprakash and “Kathal Arangam”.

The story of Manmadhan needs action and glamour. Let us see how the “Manmadhan” team is going to tackle this problem…
