Changing either the spelling of one’s name or better still, the name itself for numerology purposes is the latest craze among film folk. Take Sherin. After being seen in some forgettable movies, she had only Kadhal Thiruda. She even camped in Mumbai to fish for Bollywood roles. Someone suggested that she change her name as Sherin sounded inauspicious. So, Sherin became Zarra Ali. Not much better luck as yet, but keep at it, Sherin, ouch, Zarra!
