Lyricist Padma Shri Vaali celebrates his 82nd birthday today. He has penned over 10,000 songs and acted in quite a few films notably Hey Ram and Sathya with Kamal Haasan.
The man, despite his age, has always had a grip over the youth’s sensibilities and writes songs that are trendy like the recent 'Kalaasala' from Osthe. Most recently, he has contributed for Yuvan Shankar Raja’s Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer and the Dharan-STR combo’s chartbusting Poda Podi.
