Nagarjuna’s latest release Damarukam is said to be an epic fantasy film. The film also stars Anushka Shetty as Nag’s love interest and Ganesh Venkatraman in an anti-hero avatar for the first time. The dashing young man labeled the opportunity as a role of a lifetime and wouldn’t disclose much more about his character.

The film is said to be an interesting triangular love story but with some mythological strains as it is said to be a contemporary take on one of Lord Shiva’s tales. Ganesh also revealed that his character was inspired by Shahrukh Khan’s character in ‘Darr’ as an obsessive lover.

Ganesh believes that this film will present him in a new way to the audience and according to the director, Srinivas Reddy, the film will announce the arrival of Ganesh Venkatraman.
