This studio was demolished long back and the place now houses apartment. However, the outer wall for the studio is still intact as a memorial for a production house that made the first ever Tamil talkie film Sadhi Agalya.
The producer of Azhagu Magan, Vivekanand and Salem-based Jeevanand decided to conduct the inaugural pooja of his film at the Modern Theatre Gardens, which serves as a park for the apartment dwellers.
